BIKEATHON The main event here is on Saturday when we will be holding the Le MANS(field) BIKEATHON AT FOREST Town Welfare. Now here’s where you can help. We are looking for 5 man teams (no sex discrimination!!! – girl’s welcome too!), to have fun in our BIKEATHON! This will take place between 1pm and 7pm that day in relays of one rider at a time (so the other 4 team members can relax until it’s there turn to ride!) You don’t have to be mega fit or be a regular cyclist. It’s all about having loads and loads of fun!! There are prizes for the winning teams but the main bit is about enjoying yourself by participating. In order to participate all you need to do is obtain a sponsorship form and get round those aunties and uncles for their money. Meanwhile, whilst our cyclists are merrily peddling away, we have all sorts of other things for you to see and do. Within the arena their will be varies rock bands entertaining you as well as our very own local radio station hosting the show. Inside the Forest Town Welfare, take your mums and dads into the CRAFT FAIR that is taking place and get all your gifts for Christmas.
